Chiwetel Ejiofor in talks to Voice Scar in Disney’s ‘Lion King’
British born Nigerian Chiwetel Ejiofor, who was nominated for an Oscar for his leading role in 12 Years a Slave, is in talks to voice the character of Scar, in Disney’s live-action reimagining of its classic, The Lion King, according to THR.
Jon Favreau, who directed the live-action remake of The Jungle Book, is also directing Lion King, which already has a voice cast of Donald Glover as Simba, and James Earl Jones as his father, Mufasa, alongside Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner and John Oliver.
