"Nigerians we need to wake up" - Emmanuel Ikubese charges the Populace - BellaNaija

Actor and former Mr Nigeria Emmanuel Ikubese has charged Nigerians to take control of the country.

Ikubese, who is currently in the UAE, says he’s amazed by how advanced the infrastructure is over there, compared to Nigeria.

Ikubese complained that Dubai, which used to be a desert, was transformed with funds gotten from the exploration of oil. Why don’t we have that in Nigeria? He asks.

He shared a bunch of videos on his Instagram, with the caption:

Nigerians we need to WAKE UP.. We have been stupid for too long.. GOD BLESS NIGERIA..

Nigerians are talking but ARE THEY LISTENING???
Instead of infrastructural developments, THEY want to spend $1 billion on BH.
Now I believe there are monetary gains for some top politicians from this elusive fight against BH.

No, you dont understand. BH are their boys who are unemployed post election and therefore turn on them and kidnap their spawn for income. Rather than sort them from their pockets, they ask the government for the money, ie 1 billion. this sorting will last till next election cycle and then after that they will ask for another 1 billion equivalent accounting for inflation. Its all a game show.

The problem is we talk too damn much without any action. It is in times like these, I miss Fela.

Good thing he is talking. The real thing is action all across many African countries. If one is moving forward and leaving others behind the impact will be low. Initiative groups have to be formed to start work at grass root levels. There is no developed black nation. Is black gene or DNA problematic? North Africans with light skin even sparked up an Arab spring & looking at Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, even Egypt looks better than many resource filled West African countries. So I ask again what can we do aside talk? How do we keep tribalism and individualism aside to act collectively.

We have been stupid for too long? You mean YOU have been stupid for too long! Jagbajantis. I haven’t forgotten how he insulted Daddy Freeze for speaking out against tithes. That’s part of the stupid. And see the way he @‘ed everyone under the sun. Attention seeker. He’s giving me Tyrese vibes.
