Power couple Beyonce and JAY-Z began the run for their second tour together “On the Run II” in Cardiff on Wednesday.
The couple made an entrance hand-in-hand down a floating stage to the screams of the crowd.

They quickly segued to the first song, “Holy Grail,” and it was only up from there.
While Beyonce had her powerful moments – egging the crowd on before performing “Me Myself & I” (“Ladies, are we smart? Are we strong? Have we had enough?”), the all-black performance of “Formation,” and the unapologetic “Sorry” – and JAY-Z too killed it – performing in a bullet vest for “99 Problems” – their best moments on stage was no doubt the two of them together.
The two performed their hits “’03 Bonnie & Clyde,” “Crazy in Love,” and gave a very public PDA while doing “Part II (On the Run)” that it was easy to forget that a slew of their songs are about one partner cheating and the other confessing to cheating.
