Funmike, Miss Oyo on the night, went against fifteen other lovely ladies vying for the crown on Saturday in New York.

The gorgeous queen went on the platform of promoting performance arts in education. “I have found my purpose in teaching by giving back and being a positive influence and an advocate for our future leaders of tomorrow,” she shared. “Through all of my experiences, life challenges, victories and failures; I had to get back up again and see it through.”

Writing on her Instagram, Funmike thanked her family, who showed up en masse, for their support.
