Reach A Hand Uganda (RAHU) and Emmanuel Ikubese Films have premiered their long-awaited pan African series Kyaddala: It’s Real in an exclusive black carpet event held at Kingdom Kampala in Uganda.

The exclusive world premiere attracted key players in the film industry from Uganda and beyond ranging from movie directors, producers, actors and actresses beyond the cast of Kyaddala. The series will officially start airing on October 5th on NBS Television and on the official Kyaddala YouTube page and Sauti Plus TV.

Speaking at the black carpet event, Emmanuel Ikubese, the Director and Executive Producer of the series, emphasised that the series is a world-class show that will change the face of television.

He said:

There’s no greater feeling like finally launching this series that we have poured ourselves into for the last 9 months. We have dedicated resources, space, and artistic energy to ensure that Kyaddala is a world class show that audiences will appreciate. I am proud to make my directorial debut on a show that will change the face of television.

Based on real life, day to day events that a lot of young people can relate to, Kyaddala depicts young people’s sexual and reproductive health issues through a rich storyline with compelling themes like HIV and its impact on young people

The 8 part series will be airing on the official Kyaddala YouTube page and SautiPlus TV. Plans for season 2 are already underway.
