“Lace, Structure, Romance”! The Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection by Elizabeth Waldorf

Lace, Structure, Romance” is the debut by Elizabeth Waldorf. This Autunm/Winter 2012 collection with mostly black, grey and snake skin colour, shows the creative director - Jane Ole‘s appreciation for art, architecture, and the beauty of a woman in love and the idea behind using a mannequin named ‘Elizabeth’ instead of a human model for the debut collection was to show the pieces in the rawest form.

According to Jane Ole - “Lace is such a delicate fabric to work with, the sheerness of lace fascinates me, I think its one of the most beautiful fabrics in the world. Tweed is a classic & timeless fabric it represents what we believe in at Elizabeth Waldorf, that a woman should be able to wear garment years after she purchased or pass it down to her generations to come

All four Elizabeth Waldorf labels - Elizabeth Waldorf Limited Edition, Elizabeth Waldorf 21, Elizabeth Waldorf Africa and Le Petite Elizabeth Waldorf are present in this collection.

Just recently, upcoming singer and songwriter – Kaline Akinkugbe performed at the Wellbeing Foundation (Vogue Exclusive Event) with Italian designer Roberto Cavalli and Vogue Italia Editor – Franca Sozzani in the floor length tulle\leather look limited edition piece.
