‘ALAN POZA‘ is described as “a hilarious youth romantic comedy which explores the emotional adventures of a young music label executive and his daily grapples with the temptations in that sector.”
The movie is produced and directed by Charles Novia and will be released by his company, November Productions.
Check out the trailer below. Certainly looks interesting but what do they mean by “Buying a recharge card of as low as N200 can get (a Nigerian girl) all over you in an instant“. So tired of these cliches about our women, so not true!
Look out for Nigerian stars OC Ukeje, Beverly Naya and Okey Uzoeshi.
this storyline should be retired already…..didnt find anything funny about it n as much as i think every body deserves a fair chance n break, OC Ukeje just doesnt do it for me as the lead n dat bervely girl too sha…..nways, goodluck on the effort but would hav tot that by now, charles novia as a veteran that he is would have better stories to tell n show…..my 2cents..

Too contrived for my liking. OC’s beards just look unkempt,Beverly’s acting is a turn off. “buying a recharge card of as low as N200″??? OC you are a graduate na! Haba!
bellindah efah is really hot…………and this looks like the year for beverly naya and nollywood…….at last quality movies are now coming from nollywood……..
the good thing is that nollywood movies would now be showing on american cables starting from feb 1………….it is really a dream come true………i am really happy for those who worked hard to make this a reality………jeta amata, .uche jombo, the royal arts academy, ghana’s abdulsalem mumuni and frank raja arese, funke akindele and nollywood usa hottest actress j.j. bunny.
i am also happy for uru eke and beverly who believed in their motherland africa and left greener pastures in the uk and europe to come back home and fight for a place in nollywood…….america sees africa as a disease and waste i hope that perception can now be modified…………..
Why is this movie porttraying nigerian women as cheap prostitutes..im totally and completely unimpressed..this is soo sexist and i would not spend time paying for this crap anyway mchew
Impressed or not some Nigerian women live a prostitute lifestyle. Examples:They have a man for blackberry fone, for BB services/recharge card, for brazilian hair, for house rent, for car,for tickets/shopping trips abroad sleep with Pastor for fruit of the womb and so on, abeg make una free this Charles Novia he is only mirroring back the moral decadence in our society to us.

as much as i like charles novia and i liked his old movies, comedy is not his forte. comedy is a very dicey genre in filmmaking. i don’t like any of the actors from the trailer and the movie won’t be funny.
Charles Novia is a confused man. I dont expect much from him after that nonsense of a book he wrote about actors who have worked with him. He cant get better, but worse…..for running colleagues down.

Well, the thing is the actors are not comedy acts in anyway. There are peeps who are naturally funny, so the casting director should be blamed.
As for OC, i feel he is and intelligent person, im yet to see a film of his ill totally love but i feel the problem is that he is yet to be casted right. As for Bev, i think she acts okay as well, but definitely wont carry a comic role.

Naija runz girls have different levels from N200 recharge card, brazilian hair, first class ticket to Dubai etc, you just get a shopping basket, take the elevator to your desired budget level and shop till you drop. It’s that easy people, so Ladies don’t get all rancid about the Movie. Change your immoral ways don’t shoot the messenger.
