Intricate Details & Gorgeous Designs! Presenting the Iconic Invanity “Elements” Collection Lookbook

Iconic Invanity Elements Collection Lookbook - BellaNaija - February2014001

Okay Iconic Invanity fans, here is your seasonal fix.

Wowing us once again is the Spring/Summer 2014 collection titled “Elements” from Nigerian brand Iconic Invanity owned by Nancy Nwadire.

The collection is filled with fabulous and flamboyant details, textures, gem work and beading and of course it wouldn’t be Iconic Invanity without a burst of colours. Inspired by natural elements, here is what Nancy had to say about the collection. “For this collection, we wanted to move forward and look to the future with something young, streamlined and chic for the Iconic Invanity woman”.

The mood for this collection offers a fresh mixture of modernist and hint of far eastern influences inspired by colors from Earth, Air, Fire and Water. From the graceful and feminine cobalt blues representing water to the tranquility, innocence and purity seen in White dazzling diamond dresses. The collection comprises of jumpsuits and dresses with lace detail that reflects the luminescence of Air.

This collection was first Unveiled at the 2013 Lagos Fashion and Design week to rave reviews and now we present the collection lookbook.

Enjoy.

Amazing job! Great theme and not-so-literal references. I see what Funmi Iyanda wore as well. Love it.
    Why the model leaning tho?
And some of the styles are wayyy too short in the opaque parts… her china will show for sure.

Love the collection. Some of the outfits aren’t flattering to the model’s figure, particularly the last one. But I love the prints. They make the collection.

This is a really nice collection. I would definitely wear some things. However, I can’t understand this thing amongst most of the African designers I’ve ran across on this website; why they can’t just name their lines after their own name or something more reflective of their own names vs “Iconic Invanity” for instance? It’s a little hm hm to me. Anyway, like I said I really like this collection!
