Solange Knowles (sort of) Addresses Elevator Fight with Jay Z
Solange Knowles has moved on and she wants the world to do the same.
The “Losing You” singer in an interview with Lucky Magazine for its August 2014 issue, she addresses and quickly brushes off questions about her infamous elevator scuffle with Jay Z and Beyonce.
In the issue, the 28-year-old calls the incident “that thing” and said, “What’s important is that my family and I are all good,” she said. “What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that.“
If you recall, after the video was leaked in May, Jay Z and Solange released a joint statement on the incident.
“But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.” said the statement.
