great job…but these guys need to find thier feet as a team without the collabos. allow people appreciate bracket as a group not only appreciating thier collabo songs. i love me some wizkid…he stole the show again on this one like tubaba did with yoriyori remix. in all great effort and great job.

I love this song. How come I never heard of it before now? Nice mix of igbo and yoruba. Don’t know their actual names, but I see the dark one is looking fresher now. Guy wasn’t playing trying to let us know he can dance. Only thing I’d say is I wish a few scenes had held for a tad bit longer. Barely had time to process each frame before it switched up. So really didn’t get to see their dance steps. But me looooooove! Going back to hear it a second time. Then I’m ripping the audio download.

Wait, was that Flavour N’abania in the video? The scenes were too fast joo.

Oh, I also liked that they don’t necessarily sing half and half. Noticed a lot of Naija groups do that. Doesn’t have to be one clear lead singer, but they can’t switch it up like Bracket did here. This song suits the dark one’s voice more, so I liked that he carried the bulk of it. This actually allowed me to separate their voices. Now I know the light-skinned one carries more of the alto-tenor and the dark, alto-treble sound.

    It’s Wizzy…with a swag of a 100 thousand million!!!

OK VIDEO BUT I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS. WHY ARE ALL OUR STARS OUTSOURCING? WHY ARE THEY SHOOTING THIER VIDEOS OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY? IS IT THAT WE DO’NT HAVE THE RIGHT LOCATION, EQUIPMENTS,PROBS ETC? E.G, LOOK AT THE GIRLS DANCING IN THE VIDEO, THEY CAN’T EVEN DANCE TO THE SONG NOT TO TALK OF DOING JUSTICE TO THE SONG LIKE A NIGERIAN GIRL WOULD HAVE. IF YOU LOOK AT THE VIDEO VERY WELL YOU WOULD NOTICE THAT IT WAS CUT IN ONLY ONE LOCATION WHICH BRINGS ME TO ANOTHER POINT,WHY WAS IT EVEN TAKEN TO SOUTH AFRICA? I LOVE THE VIDEO THAT WAS DONE IN CROSS RIVER STATE WHICH TO ME IS BETTER THAN THE ONE I JUST WATCHED. PLS OUR STARS,COME BACK HOME AND MAKE USE OF OUR UNTAPPED RESOURCES. THE COUNTRIES YOUR ALL GOING TO SPEND MONEY, WOULD HARDLY COME TO NIGERIA TO CUT THEIR VIDEOS.

its expensive trust me going to SA is cheaper than naija cause there are a few people that have the equipment, producing tallents etc to these kind of thing and they have set there prices because they at an advantage its about supply and demand not that i like the sound of it but thats reality my dear

Yes, I agree with an above comment, the chocolate one seemed a little over excited, kudos to wizkid (kept his cool) wonder the fate of this song without him. Again, why were non nigerian girls used for the video, you could see they couldn’t dance to it. In all I had fun watching it, enjoyed it and I could tell the lads also had fun shooting it

Thank you, Hogan! I think it is hightime the Nigerian Inland Revenue starts to tax the hell out of foreign shot videos etc I don’t think these producers understand the lack of revenue to the country. You can imagine what US video vixens earn. Give Naija women a break. What is all this glamourising others and knocking your own. If they try that in other countries, the women will simply allow SA women to buy your records. Ah, ah? P Square, D Banj are notorious for using foreign women in their videos. Infact, gon. Banky’s Lagos Party video was better than all this rubbish.

cool song, nice video but not to sound racist or anything but wouldnt it be nice to have a black (maybe) nigerian girl as the video girl, i mean most of the people that listen to this are mostly black nigerians so it would make sense to have a nigerian girl as lead girl to please your audience. I mean whats wrong with a black nigerian girls and i have noticed that in most music videos from male nigerian artist , the lead girl is (most of the time) white! but i have seen some black nigerian girls as lead girl in a music video. It just doesnt make sense

      February 19, 2012 at 4:15 pm

or mostly light-skinned girls, whats wrong with dark skinned girls!

see your mouth like Nigeria, so armed robbers should come and attack them abi, or steal their equipment, please give them a break.

    February 19, 2012 at 4:36 pm

at least they have included their respective languages, Yoruba and Igbo and Pidgin English, its not that they are speaking the South African language.

I think it is cheaper to shoot in SA. but if you are going to shoot in SA use an exciting scenery dont go and shoot in an alley way (that looks like it can be anywhere). The girls had no rhythm they obviously could not dance save for the one in black. The biracial Asian girl looked very weird, her face, facial expressions and her posture looked one kind but hey, she is ‘exotic’ so they gats to use her in the video na. The dark-skinned Bracket guy’s garagara was too much ,haba..The scenes were switched so quickly one could not even soak them up before they changed to the next one.
That being said, i love this song and it has been on my iPod for a hot minute and is one of my work out songs….Wizkid’s part was hot and Bracket too did a good job!

btw, i didnt notice Flavor in d video o!Will watch again.

Yeah! U should watch again flavour did make an appearance. Well said by the way, naija girls could have done a sublime job with the rhythm. I mean there was so much energy on the beat. Too bad!

I’ve always loved the track and I must say the video is quite nice. Dunno which is nicer; the video or the song. Wizkid’s swag when featured is always on point,so effortless. There’s this calmness he exudes that i find really sexy. He really shone in the video. The dark Bracket dude…….smh He should have been a bit calmer like the light skinned dude.
But all in all, good job guys!
