BN Music Friday Top 5 – 2Face Idibia

Thank God It’s Friday! Wow! This week just went by in a flash. I’m Onos O and here we are again with BN Music Friday Top 5.

This week, 2Face Idibia dropped his fifth album effort, “Away & Beyond” and it has been the talk of the town ever since. In fact, on May 1st, what we celebrate as Workers’ Day here in Nigeria was almost as good as 2Face day to me, because almost literally everywhere I went and every radio station I tuned to was either playing his music or at least talking about him.

So, in some way, I guess I’m still indulging in the aftermath of his concert the night before. As a result, here we are this week with BN Music Friday Top 5 – “2Face Idibia”.

I don’t mean to go any further in somewhat sucking up to 2Face but the man has a lot of songs that people love, so regardless of what songs make the cut, I’m pretty sure each person would have a song that they strongly feel should have made it to the countdown. In that regard, I’ll just show you my top 5 and ask that you share your opinions as well.

So let’s get right to it then, this week’s BN Music Friday Top 5:

5. True Love

This song brings back some very cherished memories of mine.

4. Outside

This song tugs on those heart strings just right. “…with you, is where I’d rather be…”

3. Implication

This is one party jam that has proven to be evergreen.

2. Only Me

My favourite part will always be when he says – “…because I’m not the only superman in the area…”

1. African Queen
