On Sunday 27th October 2013, Osas Ighodaro launched her non-profit organization – Joyful Joy Foundation – at the Avenue Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Joyful Joy Foundation was founded by the Nollywood starlet and Sioux Greaux in a bid to bring more awareness on malaria. Osas revealed that her sister and her unborn child died of the disease on a short visit to Nigeria.
For the event, the Tinsel actress selected a dress by Clan from its Autumn/Winter 2013 collection.
The daughters of iconic designer Deola Sagoe who run the label, presented this white satin dress which features a high neckline, loose sheer sleeves, grey and yellow detailing and a front slit, with a lot of stylish looks for Fall.
Osas’ stylist Adaeze Chioma Obiozor of Jennique Consulting, accessorized the outfit with silver earrings as well as with white heels like the model in the lookbook, but Osas’ were ankle strap.
Soft wavy locks and pink lipstick completed her look. I like how the dress is sexy yet demure for the serious event.
Majid Michel, Toolz, Ice Prince, Noble Igwe, Vimbai Mutinhiri, Banky W, Gbenro Ajibade and DJ Xclusive were spotted at the event to show their support for her cause.
Seyi Shay gave a beautiful rendition of the national anthem, Elenu delivered rib cracking jokes and a theme song for the foundation produced by Tee-Y Mix was performed by Ella.
