The “White Rose”! Nigerian Fashion Label House of Nwocha to Showcase its Spring/Summer 2014 Collection at Glitz Fashion Week 2013, Ghana

Presenting the new collection from Nigerian design label, House of Nwocha to be showcased at the Glitz Fashion Week 2013, Ghana – “White Rose“.

According to the designer, Ugonna Omeruo, the Spring/Summer 2014 lookbook is all about femininity, fun and prints. “You must find some element of fun in every piece or the point of Summer would be lost entirely.”

From the monochrome lush floral print to the burgundy and white floral print, this collection is all about having fun in the sun in floral and striped prints. The burgundy floral theme print was hand painted by an artiste, then embellished to perfection. The collection will also feature high waisted dungarees and crop tops ina flash back from the 90s and preppy party dresses and cut outs day dresses to have you set for next year’s fashion.

Describing the pieces the design label said “The garments are cut in an old technique showing off a low waste line in swingy silhouettes. Florals are part of the Hse of Nwocha repertoire for summer looks. The dress that would make everyone sit up and take notice would be the beaded purple cape faille gown. It is a classic HON—as elegant and ladylike as they come.”
