Good day ladies and gentlemen,
Reporting live from the SYBT office again, and this week, we are reviewing Sean Tizzle’s debut album ‘The Journey’, In case you’ve been living under the rock for the most part of last year and you don’t know who Sean Tizzle is, we’d tell you who he is. Sean Tizzle is the guy that ran away from Sound Sultans’s Naija Ninja and set up his own karate school. Sean Tizzle is the guy responsible for some of the biggest hits from last year, backed up by super producer Dtunes and CEO of Difference Entertainment, hits such as ‘Sho Lee’ and ‘Mama Eh’ were created.

Here is what we think of the album
Good day ladies and Gentlewomen, reporting live from the SYBT office again, and this week, we are reviewing Sean Tizzle’s debut album ‘The Journey’, in case you’ve been living under the rock for the most part of last year and you don’t know who Sean Tizzle is, we’d tell you who he is, Sean Tizzle is the guy that ran away from Sound Sultans’s Naija Ninja and set up his own katare school. Sean Tizzle is the guy responsible for some of the biggest hits from last year, backed up by super producer Dtunes and CEO of Difference Entertainment, hits such as ‘Sho Lee’ and ‘Mama Eh’ were created.

Here is what we think of the album.

Perfect Gentleman
T: Smooth….Sean Tizzle comes correct on this one. Dtunes is just showing off on this beat

S: Dtunes does damage with the guitar and talking drums on this one. Proper live instrumentation. Sean Tizzle creates a melodious heart felt wedding tune with it

T: Dtunes wants that number 1 spot

S: It’s up for the taking.

Baby O
S: Not to be confused with Girlie O

T: Decent song…Sean Tizzle didn’t say much on this one. ‘Arara’ was said like 50 times…song come end

S: I fux with this song heavy tho. At least he didn’t freestyle. Dtunes drum programming game is disgusting

T: He didn’t freestyle? Even worse that he wrote ‘arara’ on paper 50 times

S: Hahaha you are somehow

T: Not a bad song tho

Take It
S: My Peanut Butter…

T: My jam!

S: My nutella…

T: My mayonnaise…

S: My…my…

T: It’s OK…stop

S: This is the song that is played when you don close mark babe for corner in the club

T: Overload babe. Lepa babes have a seat

S: Lepa babes can receive it like most oo

T: Hey! I’m just repeating after Sean Tizzle. I don’t discriminate either

S: Apparently he has money in his pocket and he doesn’t have to go to the bank for days

T: Yup. He does

S: He clearly doesn’t pay for toll gate that much

Kilogbe remix feat Reminisce, Olamide
T: This song should have been positioned where the original one is

S: My favourite Tizzle song gets a facelift with my top 2 indigenous Rappers. Dtunes still had time to add to a perfect original and make it even doper

T: I prefer the original

S: Me too. But i like this beat better.

Could This Be Love
T: Not to be mistaken for the title of a Nollywood movie

S: If you think Tizzle doesn’t have talent….listen to this.

T: Mehn…

S: Dude got a voice on him. Absolutely beautiful tribute song

T: I was waiting for the featuring Tuface…produced by Tuface…Tuface on the mix…anything at all

S: Live

T: Best song on the album

S: Tuface gonna hear this and call Dtunes and say “How about i trade you Dammy Krane for Tizzle”

T: Dtunes gon answer and say…’no ma deya ma deya’

Loke Loke feat 9ice
T: Better feel good song…9ice came through too

S: He had to…I am sure Dtunes let him know that this ain’t a G.R.A track.

T: Haha. I agree

S: Really impressed with Tizzle’s so far. He ain’t just winging the songs.

T: As per KFC abi…get it…chicken…wings

S: BEHAVE!

Komagbon
S: “We need a song Djs will play after Skelewu” That’s how i think this song came up

T: Truee. Not for me. Sounds like a photocopy of Skelewu

All the way feat Kcee
S: Siiiiing a Sooong

T: Beer Parlourr song…check

S: Sean Tizzle got his song for Ibo events on lock

T: Kcee does what he always does

S: This song sweet die. Electric guitar riff on point. Deetunes just walked into DelB’s lane and went on cruise control

T: DelB na Brt wey im get im own lane

S: Stop eet!

T: Ok

:(

Duro
S: Yeah…there ain’t nothing spectacular about this

T: Yeah. Not a bad song

S: This wasn’t produced by Dtunes tho…so maybe that’s why it sounded off to me. Prince Boom got some fire tho…so i won’t knock him off this

I Got It feat Naeto C, Ice Prince
T: This jam wasn’t necessary

S: Mehn, I don’t know what you talking about. This is my jaaaaaaam

T: Where was ‘Sho lee’ on this album…’Sho lee’ should have replaced this

S: Stop that! This jam was super laid back…I mean I can understand if it didnt have both rappers verses…because I cant remember a single line from either

T: Scraps…I just wanted to get to the end like ‘terms and condition’ page

S: Tizzle just came thru with a nice vocal performance

T: We clearly didn’t hear the same song

S: Clearly, old age is catching up to your sense of hearing

T: :|

Arewa
S: Now this song wasn’t needed at all. Every line in this song has been used in every Naija song in the past 5 years

“Girl I know what you like”

“Te le me lo le mi o”

“To the right to the left”

“Tell the dj rewind selecta”

“Baby gimme that”

T: Hahaha

S: This was clearly a freestyle

T: Na Mash up

S: O well…it will make an excellent karaoke song

Igi Orombo feat Tiwa Savage
T: My personal favourite

S: Song made me sad

T: Hahaha. I know why…because it reminds you of the old Tiwa?

S: No jor. When i hear yoruba vocalists on a song with a Sax, I think of Brymo :’(

T: Until he was choched…get it choc?

S: Choched ko. Choco Milo ni. This is a pretty dope song tho. Repeat factor heavy.

Komole
T: This jam made me a believer. I thought Sean Tizzle was a one hit wonder when ‘Sho Lee’ came out. But this song proved me wrong.

S: I actually didn’t like this when it dropped. Thought he was just doing it because everyone was doing a high life song but that AJEworks video had me cracking up

T: Yeah…the video was pretty good

Mama Eh
T: I had to hear this song like 73837 times to like it

S: Mine was 73838 times. Maybe because i dont like calling my mama’s name in vain. She is like Jesus :|

T: I remember those days if your mama didn’t call your name and you answered…you’d get a back hand slap for answering to an invisible person call your name.

S: Paki moms. I am a butterboy…no Rilwan

T: Stop it!

Momayan
S: “Shoutout all the big men you know” song

T: My 2nd best song

S: Because you famz all them big peoples na. Future Big boy \o/

T: I just want all the numbers of the people he shouted out

S: Dtunes really mastered this high life production

T: Dtunes has mastered everything

Kilogbe
S: How can one not like this song? When this song comes on…I must make this face

T: Shoutout to every girl in the world with a nice bum

S: Smh

Dem No Be God
T: Good song. Sean Tizzle just showing us what he’s capable of

S: Errrm I can’t be the only one that listens to this song and thinks should have been Wande’s song for his former employer

T: Haha “Are You God???”

S: It’s aight tho

Verdict
T: This a pretty good debut album. Sean Tizzle proves he can not only make hits but he can sing also. Other than some album fillers here and there, Sean Tizzle gets a pass mark from me

S: This was a surprisingly good album to listen. Besides a couple of hiccups, it was pretty cool. Tizzle shows that he is more than a one hit wonder but the star of this album was Dtunes. He shows that he is not just a beatmaker but has developed into a well rounded producer.

3.6 Wraps

Peace, Love and it’s Seannn Tizooooo
