I was at the NeedleKraft fashion show and I must say, it was either the BellaNaija photographers didn’t get the right shots or missed out on some of the Redcarpet stars. The event was a good one and my wonderful friend, Princess Tess Onokala did us proud. Another highlight for me was Derele the crazy one opening the show and handling the auction. I have never laughed so much especially when he spoke about his bleaching , “I used to be in the dark, now I found light”..
He should have hosted the show all through.
Overall, we stand for female empowerment and emancipation and Princess Tess showed us that through till the end. GOD bless us all.

For any event whatsoever, its petinent that the media area (that is where the press, paparazzi and whoever) is prepare to depict togetherness or some sort of structure. Now not only was the red carpet rachete, it was also all over the place. Then the dress code was confusing!!! Why? Why?? Why??? Also BN, i believe, you guys shld have a standard on the kinds of pictures you accept. If not every tom, dick and harry will present pictures to you guys and expect you to post because they have paid the required sum.

Why does everyone look horrid?? And this lady http://static.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Needle-Kraft-Show-in-Lagos-June-2014-BellaNaija.com-01045.jpg I love your dress, I see where you were going with this look but the shoe you have on is a no-no! You need to invest in a lovely pair a black or lilac pointees.. Would have made your choice of outfit perfect!!!

i was also at the event, something is either wrong with the reporter or the photographer. the major highlights of the day is not even featured here let alone needlecraft herself. there were loads of classy people dressed very nicely at the event, i wonder where they got all these pics from. the models on the run way, the other designers featured besides needlecraft, celebrity runway, Tessy Onokala???? where are all those pictures. must you only promote nudity, why cant you support hardwork????

Why would NeedleKraft make that actress and the guy from BigBrother host her show? They really were an imperfect match and ran out of ways to engage the audience. The guy with the red hair and red boots did a great job of engaging the crowd instead. Well, it was the first fashion show I would attend in Nigeria as I just came in from the States that day. It is true what they say about the Nigerian factor.

BN and their many Fashion experts and event planners..shhhh all of you joor. These women put in good deal of time and efforts to come out for these events and yet you sit back in front of your tiny screen and judge and see nothing good about anything..In as much as we try to perfect western dressing, its all new to us and we’ll keep getting it wrong and trying again ,its just what it is ..Hollywood with all their millions , stylists and everything still get it wrong but we idolise them but back here when a hardworking Nigerian woman , with no nepa light in her house, under scorching sun, uses here nokia torch to get her make up on and hurdle through all the traffic and bad roads in lagos and get to an event that the organizers managed to put together something decent ( probably due to lack, funds, sponsors, what nots..in this economy try hosting a decent birthday party for yourself and see what it does to your account) but NO we all see nothing good about it ,how do we grow, how do we move forward , how do we get it right when we can’t even see the good in others
