Kaela Kay Spring Summer 2014 Collection - BellaNaija - July2014003Bold prints, beautiful models and enticing fabrics are what you should expect as fashion label Kaela Kay presents its Spring/Summer 2014 collection.

Created by Catherine Addai, the label focused on fusing the theme of Summer with bright colours, a bright and airy atmosphere and great pieces to bring its collection to life. We love the fact that the team also put in great makeup looks that complemented the pieces and created an overall beautiful lookbook.

Check it out.

Lovely pieces. Very wearable and stylish. My only grouse with indigenous African designers is their prohibitive prices. Whilst I can reason buying designer fashion at somewhat exorbitant prices from an established designer using the argument “it’s an investment piece which will last for years and years” the same can’t really be said of pieces from most of our Nigerian (or African) designers. You haven’t quite established the exclusivity and durability of your brand, yet you are charging an arm and a leg? Why? “What can fa?” 😐
