#HeinekenLFDW2015 – Day 1: Eclectic Street Style & Haute Red Carpet!
One thing we love about street style in Nigeria is you get to see just how creative individuals can be. And don’t even get us started on the red carpet fashion.
From pairing sneakers with glam dresses and rocking afrocentric looks, to stepping out in some of the latest threads and looking very haute, the fashion crowd came dressed to impress for Day 1 of this year’s Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week.
Before we go into all the fab of Day 2, let’s take a leisurely stroll through day 1 and check out all the street style & red carpet looks! Who know’s you just might get some inspiration.
Enjoy!
Red Carpet
The day would not be complete without some fab stylistas and fashionable gents on the red carpet! Check out those who brought it at HeinekenLFDW Day 1.
Keep it locked on BellaNaija.com for more from #HeinekenLFDW2015!

I love all the eclectic looks , the modern looks, the minimalist looks and everything in between. For the first time ever, i am so jealous that i do not have tickets to a fashion event in Nigeria.

I’ve always said it. Bellanaija pls invest in good photographers. People look better when they are on other mediums why? Your site should show the best of people not their worst.

i’m jealous of Papa’s boys – Demilade and the other guy in the paired long robes. I want one of those or two if the price is right 🙂
gender-bending good day, in which the hottest legs belong to a boy 🙂

Some these people particularly the men need deliverance. I guess any attention is better than no attention.
Last time I was in naija, it was still in the tropics, calling out all the sweater folks, do you all have malaria?

Sharon round frames= no no for round faces. Taje you reminded me of cullotes and print pizzaz and Abuloma Road back in the 90’s. Tell Michele Prest someone on Bella said that. He’d never guess who. In general I am digging the print ensembles.

What do I know abt fashion sef??? Definitely not much but I think Denola is too formal and that hair colour on Ezinne ages her badly. It adds like 10yrs to her. As for Ozzy, I beg you to invest more time in drama lessons/acting classes. Phonetics not enough, your acting falls flat most times, your expressions off and not convincing etc.

Abeg everybody fine jor! I liked the way everyone is dressing to suit there personality. If I had the chance I would wear something crazier after all its fashion week anything wearable is fashionable. I’ve seen worse but not from the beautiful people I see here!

Ghanaians watch and learn. I wasted my time to fly to ghana and attend their boring ghana fashion design week with their rude organiser Darryl. Kmt no wonder ghanas top designers have boycotted their show. Lfdw2015 fab vibe with talented designers all the way
