Ghana Fashion & Design Week 2015: Totally Ethnik
The Ghana Fashion & Design Week for 2015 took place over the weekend, and saw design talent from all over Africa converge to showcase their Spring/Summer offerings.
One of the many design brands whose aesthetics we loved is Ghanaian design label, Totally Ethnik. The designer showcased on Friday 23rd October 2015 at the Kepinski Hotel, Gold Coast City to a crowd of fashion lovers, enthusiasts and industry heavy weights.
The collection was filled with flowing dresses, structured skirt and pant suits, sports-inspired outfits, cut-out dresses and more, created with lace, sheer fabrics, tulle, and more fabulous fabrics. We especially love the girly details on each model with their floral headbands and accessories and the Asian-inspired hairstyles.

There is definitely a trend of delicate beauty in this season of dresses. The white lace dresses are dreamy and the collar on the dresses gives them a touch of independence even in the expression of feminine beauty.

I can’t rock any of the dresses, and that is a bad thing. I wish most of the designers will thing of the average person when designing their clothes.
