I have no thoughts. My name isn’t among those rumoured to be on #TheList.

Seriously though, I hope the President has more technocrats than politicians in his cabinet – there is a lot of work to be done in improving our systems and economy. The names up there aren’t very encouraging to be honest apart from Fayemi, Fashola and Kachikwu. I however think Kachikwu should be left as NNPC GMD. He seems to e doing a good job and instilling sanity in the system. Why mess up a good thing?

If Amaechi and Fashola are on this list, I just have two questions. 1) what in the name of God took Mr President 4 months to name his ministers if in the end it’s the same people?! I thought he was coming up with brand new names. 2) did he not say his government was anti corruption? How then (in the light of recent allegations against both Fashola and Amechi) did their names end up on that list? I am tired.

FaFa yes. Would be a saviour to a messy situation. Most of the others nah not interested in seeing how rubbish they can do. To maximise Fashola, go Justice. To maximise Fayemi, maybe Education. I know, most people are thinking Works and Foreign Affairs respectively, but they may not even be the most important spots, IF WE WERE A STRATEGIC NATION. Dear Lord, …

second thought on Fayemi actually: in Foreign Affairs he could actually expand the role to better government for Africa, the whole neighbourhood, so waking up the African Union for example. That would be exciting.
Otherwise, ain’t nothing big enough to do as Nigeria’s Min of Foreign Service sorry, and Education is knottier and therefore a better fit (bigger problems, bigger leadership). I sha trust my Fa-Fa. And my Akin Adesina. I still don’t get Buhari anyhow. I just think old dude behind times no ideas can’t keep up. But diaris God.
