Yes, dungarees have been around since time immemorial and our fore fathers and their fathers before them wore them too, but hey, they are back now and are catching on like a wild fire. From New York to London, fashion week goers have been spotted one too many times rocking them with absolute ownership of their uniqueness.

And while Gap, Zara, H&M or any of those fast fashion stores might not be readily available for a lot of us, we can tell you for free that a day’s visit to the okrika market closest to you will leave you with a multitude of dungarees option to choose from.

While dungarees might have that nostalgic collegiate feel for a lot of you, what’s most exciting about this trend is that it transcends gender and age. A man, woman, boy or girl can confidently own and rock one without feeling gender compromised.
