Antoinette Lecky, ABL Head of Operations Honored at the Nigerian Meritorious Award

Antoinette Lecky, Head of Basketball Operations of the African Basketball League was over the weekend honoured for her role in Sports development at the Nigerian Meritorious Award held in Lagos.

According to the organizers, the award was presented to Nigerians that showed greatest promise of contribution to human development well-being, through the creation and application of their activities, intellect and knowledge.

Antoinette, an MBA and Masters in Sport Business Management degree holder from the University of Central Florida has worked for the Orlando Magic team of the National Basketball Association, NBA and Paragon Marketing, the marketing agency for the leading sports beverage, Gatorade.

She currently heads Basketball Operations at leading Sports and Entertainment Company in Africa, African Basketball League.

Entertainment veterans Adewale Ayuba, Olu Jacobs, Chinedu Ikedieze and others were among those honoured at the event.
