Ingredients
Serves 6
- 1 ½ Cup Long Grain Rice (Washed, Rinse and Soaked for 20 mins)
* For every cup of rice use 1 ½ cup liquid or as per the type of rice’s instruction. - ½ medium size (1/3 cup) white or yellow onion diced
- 2 Cups Grated carrots
- 2 ¼ cups liquid (water, or unsalted broth, or chicken bouillon)
- 2 tsp salt (to taste)
- 1 Cinnamon stick (optional)
- 1 Star anise (optional)
- 2 Tbl Ghee or melted Butter
- Pinch of Saffron (optional)
