Reports of my Expulsion from APC are False - Abdulmumin Jibrin

Abdulmumin Jibrin

Suspended House of Representatives member Abdulmumin Jibrin (APC-Kano) has debunked reports that he was expelled by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bebeji Local Government Area. Jibrin represents Bebeji federal constituency in the lower chamber.

According to Premium Times, Sani Ranka, the APC chairman in the local government accused Jibrin of factionalizing the party, creating new unconstitutional leadership, going against the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, and indiscipline against the national headquarters of the party and the presidency of Muhammadu Buhari.

Ranka said: “Before taking this final decision, we formed a disciplinary five-man committee and they went to him on 11-4-2017, he saw them briefly but without any tangible talks and they went back on 13-4-2017 he then refused to see them.”

Jibrin took to debunk the reports, stating, “Reports of my expulsion from my party, the APC, are false, and originated from known detractors. Kindly disregard them. Details later”.

He went further to say that news of his expulsion from the APC was being perpetuated by mischievous impersonators.
