Big Brother Naija shall be returning to our screens soon. Auditions for the 4th season of the reality show have already commenced in various cities across Nigeria. With the show around the corner, here are some tips on how we the viewers are to prepare for all of it.

Mental Preparations
As all sorts of amazing people audition to be on the show, let us also prepare ourselves to accept them with open arms. So say this after me: “I solemnly promise to not start picking who I like and do not like by merely looking at the faces of the contestants on the opening show of Big Brother Naija, so help me God.” We will certainly have to repeat those words until they sink in.

Planning Ahead
Would it be a crazy move to save up for Big Brother Naija? Well, if you think it is crazy, you are double wrong because we will be saving up for fuel money just in case NEPA messes up, and also for voting. Yes! Prayer works and it’s cheaper too, but prayer without works it’s nothing. So we shall be saving up for fuel, data, and power bank. Just anything to make our big brother Naija journey easy.

Managing the Psychological Impact BBNaija Has On You
I am here to tell you that you’re not alone if you ever feel like there are cameras on you and you are in a reality show of your own as well. You are welcome. Stay weird with me.

In the Name of Big Brother Naija
Prepare to make new friends who share a favorite housemate with you (members of the same fandom). And, my dear, prepare to get into your feelings and become all defensive when topics concerning your favorite housemate come up. You are 99.9% going to get into an argument with someone in the name of Big Brother Naija, but whatever we do let us keep in mind that it is all love at the end of the day.

Emotional Trauma
Have you ever been in that situation where you stay glued to your screen 24/7? However, the minute you turn away or fall asleep, boom! Big Brother reveals his face/someone gets slapped/Big Brother Ninjas chase the housemates out of the house/someone collapsed/two people made a baby. I mean, just chaos. How do we cope with that sort of emotional trauma? Simple, quit your job. Or school, if you are a student. Bottomline is do nothing. Just sit on your sofa in your pyjamas and stay glued to your screen. LOL! Yes, I am very serious.

Ebuka
Everyone, clear up your gallery. Yes, including your holiday photos. We have to make enough room for photos of Ebuka hosting the show. Ebuka needs no introduction. He is a major fashion icon on and off the Big Brother Naija stage. You are welcome.

The Contestants
There is no denying the fact that the contestants are important elements on the show. Big Brother Naija overtime have entertained us with a truckload of different characters to the point that it became hard to keep up. We definitely cannot forget the likes of Cee-C, Tboss, Tobi, Bisola, Efe, to mention a few. We keep wondering what’s in store this 4th season of the show. However, practice your victory dance for when your favorite housemate wins the show. In the situation your favorite housemate bites the dust by getting evicted from the house, grab your tissue or quickly look for a new favorite!

Controversies
There is no denying the fact that Big Brother Naija thrives mostly on drama and controversy. It’s best to just stay entertained.

Social media
Ensure you’re in sync with the conversations on social media concerning Big Brother Naija show. Forget we asked you to quit your job or school earlier, social media got you covered on every gist concerning the show. Simply turn on notifications on your preferred social media platforms or pages.

Catch All the Feelings
Big Brother Naija is projected to entertain. Make sure to enjoy every bit of it. And while we enjoy the show, let us not forget that Big Brother Naija is not allowed for viewers younger than the age of 18 (high five if you read the last line with the voice used on TV to announce the age restrictions). No? Just me then. After all is said and done, there is no denying the fact that Big Brother Naija is loved by all irrespective of age, gender, tribe or political affiliations. Millions of Nigerians tune in to watch the show. Although some persons love to hate the reality show, there is no room for escape because they one way or the other get involved. We cannot wait to see what the fourth season of the show has in store for us. Fingers crossed.
