Governor Shettima wins Borno Central Senatorial Election

Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared winner of the Borno Central Senatorial election.

The Independent National Electoral (INEC) Returning Officer, Professor Yusuf Yusuf, said Shettima polled  342, 898 votes to defeat Abba Aji of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 75, 506 votes.
