Imagine being promised a better life abroad, working in a profession you love and living the life of your dreams, only for your hopes to be killed when you find out that you’ve essentially been sold into slavery. This is the unfortunate situation that many African women have gone through.

This newly-released episode of the series ‘In Her Shoes’ is narrated by TV Host, Vimbai Mutinhiri, who gives a detailed account of the disturbing story of a married Kenyan survivor, who had to fend for her family but got sexually abused by her master until she sojourned to Saudi Arabia with other women looking for green pastures.
