Chef Lola in a new vlog is sharing how to recreate a yummy oil less Okra Pepper Soup that is guaranteed to make you crave more.

Check out all you need below:


  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 2 lb fresh catfish, cut into chunks
  • 1 grilled or smoked fish
  • Periwinkle
  • 1 lb okro, chopped or finely sliced
  • 1 small bunch vegetables (spinach, kale or ugu), sliced
  • 1 large onion, chopped finely
  • 1 habanero peppers or ata-rodo
  • 2 tbsp ground crayfish
  • 5 cups water
  • 2 seasoning cubes
  • Dry pepper to taste
  • Salt, to taste

    Looks very delicious but I have a question.
    Is it okra pepper soup to be eaten like a soup(eg chicken soup) or okra soup to be eaten with something like garri?
