She recently held a rocking holiday party and an intimate boat cruise with guests including actor Ramsey Nouah, Omawumi of Idol West Africa, Nollywoods star Jim Iyke & Desmond Elliot, Elvina and Gloria Ibru, Michelle and Najite Dede, Kenny and D1 of Kennis Music, Weird Mc, Tonto Dikeh, Mem O, blogger Linda Ikeji, sonstress Yinka Davies, Chidi Mokeme, O.C. Ukeje of ‘White Waters fame, Uti Nwachukwu from BBA3, interior designer Patrick Koshoni and Designer Frank Oshodi.

okaay.. Let me just add my own lil 2cents, partly cuz i was invited but couldn’t go because i was in benin attending numerous new year parties my extended family was throwing. I really dont see why someone who has worked hard 4 her money shud not be allowed to spend it HOWEVER she likes. Especially wen it’s a new year and everybody feels a need to celebrate wit friends, i mean let’s face it, not a lot of people entered 2009. Mayb it’s d fault of our nollywood blogger who did not giv enough info on why a lady woke up one day and decided to hav a party. And to all those advocating for “charity”, why must anybody take out an advert to inform you before de do philantrophic work? Who died and made any of u the Simon Cowell of celebrities donating to charities! She is not a government official, spending taxpayers money. She doesnt owe anyone anything. The problem i hav with the internet is that its allowing a lot of people who should know better, be nasty in the comfort of their homes. This is d same kind of negativity dat is killing a lot of people in hollywood. Sometimes one shud hav d fear of God and suppress d desire to spit out vitriol on these pages and not comment at all, if they cant give constructive criticism or say whatever u want to say diplomatically. Sorry to sound preachy but i’ve just about had it with all this negativity on this website
Wat a pity! 2 ve d same name. Rita needs more fresh air 2 b accompanied wit; n pple to enjoy 4rm wat she has. But it sounds awful. Pple need ur charity in 9ja more than crusing around. Try 2 make use of ur thinking cap in doing d rght tin. Better b4 u heard d “Fire in the hole”
9ice pixxxxxx, but what is Rita feeling like did she look at the mirrow B4 comming out of her house, I know she’s is a star but her dress sence is nonsence. Check out people like Chidi Mokeme and Noah Jr. then u know what I am talking about.
I thought it was a boat cruise…I no see the boat for the foto. Is it me or did the party look like it was on ground? Anyhow, they(nollywood stars) deserve to throw bigger and better parties if they can afford it. And who told you that hollywood celebs are the inventors of lifestyle of the rich and famous. I think we are too critical of our own. Let’s celebrate them for once. Oh!
why is omawunmi sitting like that?
Rita is officially Nollywood’s tapping celeb, young single flirty and thriving in this country where children never see chop finish. (God save her say she don do one charity event all the way in Liberia, otherwise we for take mouth finish her. Bella Naija ur blog is tres tres chic!
If Rita decides to throw a boat party that’s fine as long as Mizz Rita can afford it. Then again, i think it could be an opportunity for her, if i may suggest for her to get into some kind of charity for young females in Naija first. As Rita is a role model to some of them. And to be honest, most of them young urns need positive role models. I admire what Linda Ikeji is doing by creating awareness for the under priviledged and the less fortunate and i believe that by the special grace of God she will get sponsors, that is, genuine folks that wld be interested and wld help out of the sincerity of their good hearts. Meeen….we need pple of influence to be engaged in good causes….partying is good, no doubt.
And then again, in life like we all know there is time for everything. Good luck to all of us in all our endeavours…it ain’t easy…lol
