Mode Mag picks the Men of the Year for 2009. Find Out Who Won!

The Mode Men of the Year Awards for 2009 were given out at an intimate ceremony on the 5th of December 2009 at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos. With 70 invited guests including nominees and VIP guests in attendance, the event was hosted by actress Kate Henshaw-Nuttall and Leroy Onuogha. Awards were given to various men (and one woman) who excelled in their fields this year. Award winners included Governor Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State and businessman Wale Babalakin.

Van Vicker Man of the year for what, of how handsome he is or what, cos the whole world knows it damn sure aint his horrible emotionless acting. He still couldnt act even if you trained him for 10yrs. I think he should quit acting in movies and concentrate on modelling. THIS PRETTY MAN NEEDS TO MODEL – SAVE US THE HEADACHE AND STAY AWAY FROM EVERY FILMING LOCATION. WE bEG, I SHALL PAY HIM A MILLION DOLLARS TO STOP ACTING
@ all the comments about Van…I think his acting will improve but to be real if they say Van Vicker is in a movie I am more likely to watch it just to stare at his fine-ass-ness c.f. if they say Desmond Elliot or even Jim Iyke who is a great actor. Van gets my vote. And yes yes I know…totally shallow…but a thing of beauty is a joy forever!! : )

sometime we need to act a little bit mature and understand the fact that if we really want some thing to suite our likeness then that must get the maximum encouragement support. but what are we having here now, (envy and insult) which is not right. maybe this is his time to shine, and as the saying goes who jah bless no one course. thing about that for a second
