Who will be Nigeria’s Next Queen Ambassador? The 2011 Miss Nigeria Competition – View Contestants & Reality Show!

It’s time once again to celebrate the true beauty of the Nigerian woman. Since its inception in 1957, the Miss Nigeria Competition has stood to represent the highest of the ideals, showcasing positive attributes of the Nigerian woman which is elegance, poise, talent, intelligence as well as beauty.

On Saturday 5th November 2011, the 2011 Miss Nigeria Competition commenced production of the second season of its world class reality show “Crowning of the Queen” in the host state of Akwa Ibom – “The Land of Promise”.

The program will air on both terrestrial and cable channels;

With no swimwear contest and a chance to win a full ride scholarship to any institution of higher learning anywhere in the world, 37 contestants were selected from all over Nigeria in its 4 National Zonal Castings (Abuja, Port Harcourt, Benin, Lagos) and its 2 International Zonal Castings (New York & London) for the 2011 Miss Nigeria Competition.

The 2 Week reality show “Crowning of the Queen” will follow all 37 contestants as they receive training and grooming from various 2011 Miss Nigeria sponsors such as First Bank Nigeria Plc, Arik Air and Vlisco Nigeria in preparation for their future role as Queen Ambassador and  will also see the contestants housed in an undisclosed location in the host state of Akwa Ibom, where 16 contestants will be eliminated from the competition.

Only 20 Finalists will compete on stage at the Grand Finale in Lagos State at the Expo Center, Eko Hotels & Suites on Friday 18th November 2011 which will see only one contestant being crowned “Queen Ambassador” 2011 Miss Nigeria.
