Did you say Hoodrush is trash? That is a bloody lie. This is the best Nigerian movie have seen in my entire life and trust me, have seen plenty.
The acting, story, music, plot and set made sense. My God, why are we so backward in this part of the world? How did what happened at the red carpet translate to the mean the movie is bad? Abeg, lets borrow some sense.

Uche Jombo looks ridiculous, Bimbo Akintola needs to get with times and dress like she’s in the century… LADIES!!! Please note that not all photographers on the red carpets are professionals therefore you have to help them to help you and not look like a masquerade when the pictures come out. If you are going for a red carpet event, consider the cameras and lighting and tone the make up down a bit (especially if you are originally or artificially light skinned). My suggestion, after you’ve done your makeup, before u leave the house use your personal camera (make sure the flash is on) and take a picture. Use that as a guide to correct all flaws. Reduce your powder or like I do sometimes, I use a shade that is about 2 times darker than my skin colour to blend it and it turns out nice. I’m no professional but it has worked form me.

Hot mess! My heart breaks for Bimbo Akintola, love her to death, one of the best actresses we have, beautiful, confident. but when it comes to fashion, she falls flat. This comes from a place of love, Sis Bimbo, please hire a stylist (you can afford it) or go shopping with a friend who knows. For everyone else, SMH at the mess dripping off this page.
