After getting briefly acquainted with the stars in the first two episodes (click here to watch), episode 3 teases us even more.
In Episode 3 of Gidi Up (Keeping Up Appearance), which also stars Temi Dollface, Tokunbo and Eki make a connection, while Obi and Yvonne share a lot but don’t realize how much they have in common; Folarin gets desperate.
Episode 3
Ndani TV‘s Gidi Up is a thrilling adventure centered around the lives of four friends in pursuit of happiness, success and independence. However, a few wrong choices quickly turn their Lagos dreams into a Gidi nightmare.
Watch this 8-part webseries to see how Tokunbo (Adeyemi Okanlawon), Eki (Oreka Godis), Yvonne (Somkele Iyamah) and Obi (Karibi Fubara) deal with love, sex and making a living in one of Africa’s biggest cities.

All I can say is am in love with the suspense! Its just lovely
Can they increase this to 20min, its nt fair, the suspense is killin
Hi, Thanks for the feedback. This first season of GIDI UP was made specifically for the web so the it’s shorter than your regular TV programme length. However, the next season of GIDI UP will be created as a 30min TV show which will also be available exclusively on Ndani TV.
It ended too quickly!
See what they’ve done to me? I’m going to be stalking BN now for every new episode
Totally agree with you retrochic, Haba, wasn’t even upto 10mins, and the way they end it is soooooooo annoying had to go to ndani to check. + Bella is it possible to get in touch with the Gidi up team, would really love to also be part of this.
what are the songs they play
Music:
1) Temi Dollface – The Box
2) Falz – 1, 2, 3
3) Ajebutter22 – Serenre
why cant bella reply ourr comments?
Hi, you can send us an email; ideas@ndani.tv and we’ll be in touch.
I love this show! I love Ndani, TemiDollFace is gorgeous!
i agree with @retrochic. so bella, you see all our coments, questions, complains, feedbacks eyc and you dont even reply or acknowledge them so at least let us know that our efforts are not in vain or at least they are been appreciated. you just completely ignore us and we are your customers? to me thats bad customer service and i dont think that is fair. i think if you make this more interactive, your customers would feel obliged to participate more as they know their contributions, no matter how small go a long way in building a bigger family. you really dont to reply to all the comments bcos i know that wld be the next thing u wld say… but at least some of them that you alone clearly know the answers to….
pls post my comment… this is just my opinion
I truly respect all the variations we have in Nigerian art and the different up-and-coming artistes, actors and themes out there; however, I’m probably too old fashioned and conservative (though not old) for shows like this to appeal to me. I guess being away from Nigeria for half my life (and counting!) has left me longing for raw and almost undiluted Nigerian art and themes (read: little tolerance for Western influences). It’s a hopeless feeling really since change is constant and our art is continuously influenced by other forms of art, but I can’t bring myself to flow with this change…not yet, and probably never.
I agree. Fortunately, I can still listen to fela, Sunny Ade and other non-diluted music. Sometimes I just want to hear pure Yoruba (Tunde Kelani is awesome with that) or excellent pidgin (Battabox). It would be nice to still have remnants of our culture but na so so modernization dem dey call am
go to national theatre or better still look for things fall apart reruns to watch. Did you expect the africa you left years ago to suddenly pause till you were ready for nostalgia? The world didnt stop moving because you moved @NDANI TV – great webepisodes, the actors are great.
This is really good. Far better than the rubbish nollywood is putting out there. These guys are so much better than Omotola and Genevieve and d so called super stars.
More please!!!!!
I’m a Ghanaian film Maker who comes to Nigeria a lot for work, these guys NdaniTV are true competitors. They know their stuff,What they are doing here replying every comment shows how good and serious the NdaniTV team is.You guys rock, loving every bit of GidiUp.Good sound work, sweet and simple time-lapse (maybe a tilt shift lens will give a different look),lighting on point, good editing, etc etc Keep up the good work folks, cheers. guudkelly.com
Jmayaki, get real. Must bella naija respond to every comment posted on this blog. The fun in blogging is reading people comments about a particular topic. If there is a need for a response from bella then a response you would get but expecting them to give a response for every comment. That is not just happening. Just enjoy the comments from others, learn what you can learn and be happy. No let belle run you by force. Smile!!!
Did u read properly….she clearly stated that not every comment should be replied.
Thanks for the feedback. We’ll keep that in mind.
