  • Ngozi July 2, 2013 at 1:29 pm

With the amount of nominations it has received, Alan Poza must be a really good movie :) I need to see it

  • Ngozi July 2, 2013 at 1:30 pm

Ps Why is President Jonathan being nominated for an award? Okies, that’s interesting……

  • Gee July 2, 2013 at 1:32 pm

Congrats to my friend, B.J Winfrey for all his nominations on his movies FIVE and One Night in Vegas! All the best.

  • JADE July 2, 2013 at 2:10 pm

Nah not the photo,he cute. meanwhile why are they honoring Jonathan and wife?plus i didnt see the meeting in ANY category and that :s

  • Naveah July 2, 2013 at 2:35 pm

I’ve always disliked that the organizers of this award often refer to it as the “african oscars” which is very takes away from the AMAAs which have always been referred to by the same term. And if I am not mistaken, the AMAA awards came before NAFCA so why they would want to use the same tag line is beyond me. Don’t try to steal someone else’s thunder, create your own path.

    • pynk July 2, 2013 at 4:16 pm

Because they are telling us they dont think their idea is meritious without being linked to the west. Le DUH!

      • Naveah July 2, 2013 at 9:42 pm

You hit the nail on the head, Pynk! Everything has to be brought back to the West, it is only better if there is a Western associate. People talking about Genevieve is the Sharon Stone of Nigeria, why can’t she just be plain old Genevieve of Nigeria who is hot, talented and beautiful in her own God-given right?

  • camair babe.. July 2, 2013 at 5:13 pm

Proud Cameroonian!! I can see Ninah’s diary and One night in vegas. Tops up and kip going ahead

  • temtem July 2, 2013 at 5:33 pm

    sigh! Majid, my love…sigh again!

  • ILoveGenevieve July 2, 2013 at 6:07 pm

I love Genevieve, she’s my girl anytime ….she is a wonderful actress. However, her role in Weekend Getaway was not the award friendly type. I feel most awards just nominate stars for publicity sake. And that sucks like this one.

    • Hope July 2, 2013 at 10:09 pm

This is why I love you…lol… Your bias against OmoT aside, I love your reading your post. Meanwhile, OmoT for favourite actress category win!! lol…

      • ILoveGenevieve July 3, 2013 at 11:50 pm

Lol ….love you in same way you love me. No bias for Omotola, she’s very pretty, I’ve enjoyed some of her performances. But she simply gives me the Kim K vibes. And it hurts …so bad. Really bad. How she’d win an award she wasn’t nominated for is way beyond my imagination ….but for your sake, Omotola for everything! Hope that works.

  • Ned July 4, 2013 at 10:02 am

  • Hope July 4, 2013 at 2:44 pm

@iloveGenevieve…. Ha Actually, she was nominated for ‘favourite actress’ (which I think is somehow pointless anyway) category.. Check well..lol..

    • ILoveGenevieve July 5, 2013 at 11:38 pm

Honestly didn’t see that category …and I have no idea what it means but think it is atrocious.
