Titilope Alade-Bamgbala, Chief Executive Officer, Happyboys Entertainment, on Tuesday urged government at all levels to promote the development of talented youths within the entertainment industry through scholarship awards.

He told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that many Nigerian youths were talented but lacked the finance needed to develop their talents.

Alade-Bamgbala urged well meaning individuals to collaborate with government to identify such youths and assist them in developing and exploiting their talents.

“These youths could become good dancers, artists, actors, musicians and models if encouraged and supported.

“We therefore call on well meaning individuals and government to come together and establish academies where talented youths could be trained to express their creativity.

“The development of tomorrow’s leaders today will no doubt facilitate the nation’s growth,’’he said.

Alade-Bamgbala said that developing the creativity of youths would not only enhance the entertainment industry but would also promote Nigeria’s image positively.

He expressed the hope that products of the academies would be able to compete with their foreign counterparts and boost the image of the nation’s entertainment industry.
