Nadia Buhari just fell hends with that belt. It just looks so out of place with her outfit.
Saint Obi just had to show us that he is an Igbo man with those white shoes.
Liz Benson has really aged o. Wow.
I see folks like Niyola, Gbemi OO, Halima Abubakar paid attention and did something right this time around. I think this is the best and most muted I’ve ever seen Halima look.
Gbenro Ajibade – all you get is a big SMH.
Ugonna Omeruo – eeeek.
Katherine Obiang – Very razz get up.
Aisha Shaba – Lmao
Ibinabo Feberisma – It’s not by force.
Ono Bello – say no to that wig
Ituen Basi looked lovely.
Hauwa Mukan looked great in that dress. The shoes were just very off.
Didi Ocheja – thumbs up all the way.
Zaina – Best I’ve seen her look in a while. Good job.
Simi Osomo – Love it.
Moyo Okonoa’s wife – Lovely dress.

Why refer to the ladies accessories as diamonds???? Like seriously!
I’m sure most of them are diamante, swarovski, cubic zirconia, glass, or. Unidentified transparent glassy stones.

As in….I had to check out midway to the comments and someone is really ‘impress’ by the outfits.Holy Mary! Some women need to invest in their ‘upper ‘packages’!
xoxo
March 15, 2013 at 10:28 pm
Many of them tried. But for the guys who tried to dress corporately, there were more ‘coats’ than nice suits….
A few of the females missed it totally.

only in Nigeria will you see all sorts of people on the red carpet of what is supposed to be the biggest night for movies. I dnt get what the designers and makeup artistes were doing on the red carpet. It’s meant to be exclusive.

Nice to see Nkechi Okocha make a public appearance! She and Amara Okonkwo like to keep it lowkey which is good…but still good to see her out. Still looking fab after all those kids!
Nice to also see Bob-manuel’s wife for the first time.
Julie Arinze looking sexy already after dropping babies like yesterday! Na wah o.
Its quite funny to me how there are much more non-actors at this event than the actors that this occasion was supposed to celebrate! lol…Naija for u.

Efya’s turban is made out of Kente. ‘ankara designed cloth’ not. whatever ankara is.

March 17, 2013 at 4:08 am
Cant even contemplate that prom dress Ibinabo is wearing. A Naija tailor would have delivered a more alluring outfit. She looked like a teenager raging on slash and burn hormones and fitted with the face of a 45 year old woman.

Nkechi Okocha, how now? Been what 12-13 years since I saw you in person. I know say JayJay short but you dont have to slump to meet you where he is. He loves tall concepts. So be where you are cos he already met you there – 1 foot in his sky. Also, I know this dress woulda been a knockout on ya pretty sef back in our hey days but we are getting older and unless we are size 6 and under, this short dress style does not exactly wear well on us any longer. Takia love.
Bella
March 18, 2013 at 12:35 pm
Imagine my disappointment at seeing Nkechi looking like this, of all the wonderful designers at your feet, yes mami, we know you have popped out a couple of kids but that is NO reason to dress this way, there are types of clothes to fit all women at all stages, you are one of the many that women look up to, that dress was just not flattering to you at all! the legs are not tones so a hem lower could have worked and the upper top is heavy so something with more hold and less drama would have been ideal. Sorry sha, but this one didnt do it for me at all!
