He passed on yesterday at the age of 85 at an undisclosed private hospital in Akure, Ondo State Premium Times reports.

Obadare was the leader of Christ Apostolic Church and later founder of the breakaway WOSEM ministry.

May his soul rest in peace….My early years were in Akure and he had broadcasts almost everyday (I think)….we would watch the show just because there was nothing else on TV back then, we had just one tv channel!….but even clueless kids like us reckoned Obadare as a great and bible-based preacher!!….**humming the jingle to the show** #soudtrackstomychildhood

Thank God for someone like you , who truly had passion for spreading the gospel of Christ Jesus. You lived your life simply as a true christian leader. You clinged to the old rugged cross to the end.

“Let me die the death of the Righteous, and let my last end be like his! (Number 23:10) ” On 28/05/1994, I met a man (Prophet T. O. Obadare) whose undiluted HOLY BIBLE message led me to DECIDE and have PERSONAL ENCOUNTER with JESUS CHRIST.
Thank God, for I am persuaded, that not sin, self, satan or even death could hold Baba Obadare down from seeing God in Heaven. Praise God he overcame to receive his. MANY crowns from Jesus Christ. I too will overcome. How about you? DECISION DETERMINES DESTINY!

Baba OBADARE was an epitome of firmness,an embodiment of true christian value and a vivid reminder of the old prophetic order of the likes of Elijah,Elisha, Ezekiel,Jeremiah and Isaiah…..Indeed a Prophet has taken a bow from this sinful world..Oh God give us another great Prophet in our time! BABA ENTER INTO JOYFUL REST.
