  6. david

    June 19, 2013 at 10:12 am

Wait genny? What has she done in nollywood for the last 2years? Let’s be realistic…. Before any of her fans run their mouth, let them ask themselves if she truly deserves this…

    • Perfect

      June 19, 2013 at 11:47 am

None but that is Nigeria for you. Only Funke and Rita have films on that list. Omotola at least did Ties that Bind 2 years ago. Last Flight was a wishy washy film characterize wise for her but Time 100 list and her reality show placed her on the list.

    • Hope

      June 19, 2013 at 12:09 pm

True… At least they didn’t nominate Genny and OmoT for best Actress this time unlike the other award. “Face of Nollywood” makes sense, even though it could be just so the “big” guns are nominated for something.. I will say though, OmoT has 2 movies to be released, “Up Creek without a paddle” and “Blood in the lagoon” and Genny already has “Weekend Getaway” though that movie was not good and she also has “Half a yellow sun” to come out

    June 19, 2013 at 12:26 pm

    June 19, 2013 at 12:27 pm

Also Ije for movie of the year? didn’t it come out like 2009? That’s 4 years ago! What a joke

  15. chukwuma

    June 19, 2013 at 12:33 pm

why does city people have a ghanian category for their award in Lagos???? do we always have to carry the ghanians along in everything??? cant they do it themselves…..i also noticed almost 50% of bellanaija contents these days are ghanian…..if they appreciate it now it wud have been better instead they spend time closing down our businesses here………SMH for Nigeria…..Father Xmas country

whether u like it or not. even if genny doesn’t act for 10years she will stil be the face of nollywood cuz her movies will b forever bcuz her acting and the good movies she is done.

besides this award look so plain with too many categories.

    • david

      June 19, 2013 at 7:14 pm

Hmm, where’s the sense? This award is annually, and u should win bcos of what you’ve done in the specified year, now what has Ms Nnaji done in Nollywood in the past 2years? Face of Nollywood should be for someone who has represented nollywood well in the year 2012-2013.. Nnaji doesn’t come in AT ALL.

  20. kenora

    June 19, 2013 at 6:36 pm

    June 20, 2013 at 1:35 am

Ije….like are these people for real, that movie is at least 3years old. This is like the “whackiest” awards list so far. There’s a comma in almost every category.

All I can see is Omotolas beautiful face! Honestly this woman is a stunner!
