Homecoming! Nigerian-born American Rapper Wale Slated to Visit Nigeria This November

Wale Folarin - October 2013 - BellaNaija

This year has seen a major influx of foreign musicians and celebrities crossing the Nigerian borders to reach out to their fans here; from the likes of 2 Chainz back in May to the likes of Salt’N’Pepa, Mary J Blige, Maxwell, Chaka Khan, Angelique Kidjo, Kim Kardashian and more. And with Christmas around the corner, we can never know who might be coming next.

But, the person we do know is coming soon is the Nigerian-born American Rapper, Wale. The Maybach Music Group ensign, who is currently on tour in the US, took to social media website, Twitter yesterday to announce he’ll finally be in Nigeria next month.

Whether it’s for a show or it’s just to see extended family, we’re glad he’s finally here. Anyone still jamming his joint with Wizkid, “Drop”?
