It has been 45 days since the school girls were abducted by Islamist militant sect Boko Haram, in the Chibok area of Borno, and the nation keeps asking and pressing for the government to help #BringBackOurGirls.

Today – Democracy Day, a few Nollywood stars including Patience Ozokwor, Chinedu “Aki” Ikedieze, Mercy Aigbe, Thelma O’khaz, Ejiro Okurame and Femi Ogedengbe, marched from Allen Avenue to Alausa Secretariat soliciting for the release of the girls.

They revealed that the march was their own way of celebrating the Democracy, because they are unhappy.

Adeyemi Ikuforiji, the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly addressed the actors.

He assured that the government is doing its best.

You shouldn’t joke with comments like these. If you are really in trouble, be more specific on how we can help you. Are you in danger? Who can you contact?

What sort of powers? Physical or spiritual? And is this truly a call for help?

@ slavery exists…i am convinced that you really are in a deep mess either physically, spiritually or emotionally. even your nam e speaks your trouble. kindly let’s know what really the problem is and we in turn will help you and pray for you. otherwise you might also talk to a pastor or anyone whom you know can be trusted. i feel your pain even without knowing what you are going through. God be with you and bless you.
