Love the Ngee show and agree with most of the issues she talks about. However, I just went on her Instagram page and she is quite guilty of a couple of points raised here. To each man his own though. Cheers.

I think Ngozi is too judgemental and condescending. Your vlogs are beginning to border on bitterness. You talk about accents, but fail to realize that yours is bordering on igbotic-ness.

Remove the log of wood from your own eye, before you remove the speck of dust from other people’s eyes.

I don’t see the longevity of your vlogs Ngozi!

      June 23, 2014 at 1:11 am

there’s different between putting up and accent and speaking proper English and i guess it’s clear here that she’s speaking proper English with a Nigerian accent

      June 23, 2014 at 2:45 am

You are ignorant. What is wrong with an Igbotic accent? Isn’t she Igbo?

      Speck nko spectacles ni…

      June 23, 2014 at 3:21 am

Hmmm. If you consider Ngozi igbotic, the Amaka nko? LOL.

You are right, her igbotic accent and fake phonet is annoying.
Has the nerve to criticize others faking

At least Amaka is not faking accent.

Chanel is a good one cos the way Naija girls in Nigeria carry those $2,500 – $4,000 bags makes me wonder.

I mean what kind of job do you do, how much do you make?

Perraps it is runs if they are real or china made, hence as Ngee and her friend suggested post a receipt or a pic of you leaving the store…lol

As for that instagram, smh…. the things I’ve heard won’t even make me join lai lai. Hiss

i like her Vlog, she is not any judgemental as someone said, she says it as it is. the madness is too much, people can no longer buy something and keep it to themselves. they have to display for everyone to see, someone will display about 5 Hermes, for where, people who get the real deal queue for a long time to get theirs delivered, and our celebs will display 5 at a time. ok. as her friend rightly said, the more you look the less you see.

    Like the amaka chic
Reminds me of gisting with my sisters
Peppering the gist with igbo phrases

  10. yeancah

    June 23, 2014 at 4:01 am

i’m with her on this… if you go through most people’s pictures on instagram… most of them were taken solely for the instagram page.. no random pictures.. like everything is scripted.. and the material things… eeeish… its just an eyesore..

  11. jaygal

    June 23, 2014 at 6:07 am

ok… i love amaka… like seriously…. she had me in stitches

  12. moimoi

    June 23, 2014 at 7:08 am

First of all let me say i love her videos. Her forth rightness is refreshing and honest. However, this particular may have had some truths but it did give off a rather judgmental vibe. Yes she is entitled to her opinions but i want her to look at that video again, she came across of rather harsh. She sounded like a parent/grandparent admonishing their child. Haba take am easy o! everyone has a right to whatever they post on instagram o!! If it offends or annoys, don’t look or follow, shikena! Ngee, please take that break, rest then come back with topics that are inspired and not suggested to you. i dont think you were feeling this one sef.

    June 23, 2014 at 7:18 am

OMG!! I like this amaka babe. funny.

  14. Ay

    June 23, 2014 at 7:32 am

    Instagram is interesting…hahaha!

The only person i wish to call out on IG is Lami Phillips, please if you know her tell her to stop famzing to all the celebrities, I mean it’s just too damn obvious. Not sure what she does or anything or why she is infact regarded as a celeb but she really wants to be relevant in the celebrity circle in Nigeria. She is the first to comment on every celebs picture with comments that make it look like they wined and dined the night before ‘ I just texted you babe’, ‘how are my kids’ hehehehe! Meanwhile, when she puts up her own pictures, not one celeb likes or leaves a comment. Yes, I have done serious CSI on this issue…ROFLMAO

I am not hating but from one sister to the other, do your thing girl and stop seeking attention and approval from others.

Lol… Loved this post, so true… Good to know some women still thinking straight with values to keep these days. Ngee i want your fone case, its uber prettyyyyy!

I usually enjoy Ngozi’s webisode however this one is quite unnecessary…. it sounds a bit petty….

    June 23, 2014 at 9:47 am

this is actually goz’s best webisode so far. quite entertaining and please there’s nothing condescending abt it. amaka is a trip

  18. pynk

    June 23, 2014 at 9:53 am

Amaka is funny as ever. She needs her own show. I agree with the insta-madness term. It iß very appropriate for many pple

i thought amaka was nse ikpe etim.

    June 23, 2014 at 11:43 am

people who think they have haters, either have fake friends and too many friends around them or they have guilty conscience, or both. why will anyone who doesn’t know you, waste their time hating you? just reduce your friends, girl.

  21. sum1special

    June 23, 2014 at 11:46 am

The instagram madness has gotten out of hand. So many fake and shallow people who just deceive people that their lives are so awesome through some filterized pictures. The one that annoys me the most is how someone posts a picture and then starts writing unnecessary quotes that has nothing to do with the picture. The childishness going on there by some attention seekers is annoying. There are still the people who keep it real on there. Shout out to them. Ngee and Amaka wouldnt have said it any better. Out of the two ladies, dont know who is funnier. lol

    • Tomi

      June 24, 2014 at 11:19 pm

Thank you so much for the comment about unrelated quotes and pictures. I just don’t get it. Everyone’s feeling philosophical these days.

  22. ao

    June 23, 2014 at 1:23 pm

If you don’t like what Ngee and Amaka said, I suggest you refer to the initial disclaimer. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook. It seems that many people use them as a platform to show off even when their bank balance is zero. I don’t do instagram, twitter, and I barely do facebook. Why? I actually have a life, work, and take care of a family. There is no time or motivation for me to buy a camera, set up an intsagram account, buy fake luxury items, pose them, and then post to impress people that I don’t know or care about.

  23. Mz Socially Awkward...

    June 23, 2014 at 2:10 pm

This episode was genius… Hahahahaha! And Amaka cracked me the heck up, no be small “there is a spirit of instagram that is going around that you people are not aware of…” Her retorts and comments are hilarious.

This was a good episode, Ngozi. I’m just going to offer a wee comment, that 11mins 34secs was a perfect place to finish up the video simply because I felt the FFB/KFFB at the end slowed it down a bit. Otherwise, enjoyed it.

  24. Alero

    June 23, 2014 at 2:58 pm

I am not sure what others think, but I think Amaka is a bit of a distraction to Ngee. She seems not to know when to stop. She could go on and on with her whining, funny phrases and casual jokes , making Ngee loose focus every now and then.

    June 23, 2014 at 8:26 pm

As a friend rightly said it, calm your tits. Life is not that serious. This Ngozi girl is the frailest naija vlogger out there whose webisodes are not about makeup, hair, food or fashion. Nigerians are unbelievably difficult people to please and the biggest cyber bullies you can find. Get a life, you lot!!

    • Victor

      June 23, 2014 at 8:27 pm

      The realest naija vlogger*
