Yinka Shonibare MBE is the epitome of art + brilliance. Born in London, and living in Nigeria till his teenage years, Yinka Shonibare has always had an inclination for the arts. He studied Fine Arts at Byam Shaw College of Art.

Shonibare uses Ankara fabric in his work, and he always uses his art to tell the story behind a story.

    Really interesting to hear him talk about the meaning behind his work. Wish I had known about this exhibition, but just found out I can still catch some of his stuff at IKON for another week 🙂
