POC Paint SS2015 Collection - Bellanaija - June2015012

Last year, menswear designer Papa Omisore debuted his menswear clothing linePeople of Colour (POC) and now he is giving us even more fashion with a new collection for Spring/Summer 2015 – “P.A.I.N.T“.

The collection is inspired by the bright and vivacious colour palettes of the brightest season there is – Summer! Infusing the toga style, the collection’s pieces feature easy-to-wear linen and cotton garments and edgy patterns and prints.

Nigerian designers, please invest in high quality fabrics ooooo.. if you want to do it , do it right mehn …. Nice ”Kanye west kinda outfit ” concept but looks cheap ‘cos of the poor quality fabrics . Dear Boo,, if i catch you in any of these , i will offer to help iron and deliberately leave the hot iron to melt this ”cellophane’ shirts and outfits .

I’m sorry but these are not well made clothes at all!! Some of them borderline cheap looking.
I really struggle to see how guys will wear some of these clothes, some look really chic but others, like the draped front tee, I no see am.
On a positive, the black model is hoot!

oh Papa Omisore!!!! which one is it that u wanna do??? today na PR guru abi fashionista, tomorrow na A&R, next week na Ad Executive….choi, #RichIslandKidsProblems

aside from the cheap fabrics, poor tailoring and clothes that need a steam iron; the designs are actually very nice. love the colors, but some designs no get market for “homophobic Africa”. cos the base to buy much of these are “secure men” and na insecure homophobes full Africa….lol

      Papa Omisore,
This clearly is a friend of yours. It’s practically obvious
Support your friends instead of tearing them down, i guarantee this same Mumu will rock these garms.

Nahhhh not feeling it one bit. Is that patchwork or colour blocking? Sad excuse for a collection really. Some of these self made designers in naija need to study fashion first, or at least know a thing or two about it, before deciding to release a *collection*.

I like the collection a lot . it’s a very good twist to menswear. Very wearable, even more wearable than Bayo’s orange culture.
I believe fashion is not one size fits all.
Creativity is not one-sided, therefore you can choose to love or hate
