Dare to Dream Organizers Warn About Impostors Defrauding Public Using Their Name

Organizers of Dare to Dream have issued a public warning alerting the public about some impostors who are using their brand name illegally, to fraudulently obtain money.

Notice is hereby given to the general public and all concerned that Kinabuti fashion initiative of No. 2 Adeyemi Lawson,Victoria Island, Lagos State is the registered proprietor of the trademark “DARE TO DREAM” in respect of education, providing of training, entertainment, sporting and cultural activities  in class 41. While we have a large audience for this show in Nigeria, we are concerned with the recent infringing activities of people who are organizing a reality show with the same name “DARE TO DREAM” in a manner that could confuse the public into thinking they are part of “DARE TO DREAM”, thereby causing immense damage to the reputation and good will of our brand.

Specifically, it has come to our attention that some third party is using the name “DARE TO DREAM” for a reality show and requesting that participants pay the sum of N3,500.00 into a  Specified Bank account.

Therefore, the public is hereby cautioned and informed that “DARE TO DREAM” is not in anyway connected or associated with these publications or websites and therefore cannot be held liable for the actions of either the perpetrators or their victims.

General Public is also hereby cautioned that neither Kinabuti fashion nor any of it’s affiliates  is responsible or liable in any manner whatsoever for any loss or damage caused to any person as a result of their dealings with such persons/firms /establishments.

 FURTHER Notice is hereby given to all to whom it may concern that use of the aforesaid trademarks or any mark(s) deceptively similar thereto, by any person(s) not authorized by us will amount to Infringement of our registered trademarks and vested rights, which will render such person(s) liable for civil proceedings at their costs.
