dreamstime_xl_33328187Our thoughts go a long way in the decisions we make. Haven studied a few about what we think and how they affect our lives. I will be sharing a few of the Power thoughts I believe we should apply in our everyday lives for a successful living:
I will not live with fear
Fear can absolutely take over one’s life, if fear rules our lives we cannot enjoy anything we do. Most of us think fear is only an emotion or feeling that occurs on our inside but then it also affects us physically.

Dr Caroline, the author of the book “Who switched off my brain?”, it was stated that fear Is actually the root of stress. She said “When fear causes a stress reaction through our bodies, it actually marinates the body in toxic chemicals and this affects our wellbeing”.

They are lots of things which fear causes:
The fear of the future can cause us not to enjoy today.
The fear of failure prevents us from stretching ourselves from wanting to try out new things. I particularly like adventures but then the fear of flying makes me to just sit at a place. Because I kept on having only negative thoughts, that exactly is what fear those, it plays around with your mind and keeps you believing only the negatives. Fear only tells you what you are not but it requires your consciousness to tell yourself who you are.

I started overcoming my fear by praying and constantly saying, I will not live with fear and started changing my mind set to only believe the positives. Fear will always present itself to you in almost every area of your life but you have to ignore it and look forward.
Fear makes you want to run from everything but it is time you actually stand still and believe that you are greater than whatsoever situation you are faced with.

I live in the present and enjoy the moment
Yesterday is history; tomorrow is a mystery but today is a GIFT. This is a mind renewal decision. Most of us get bothered about what tomorrow has to offer, the fear of not making the mistakes you made in the past make you want to live tomorrow ahead of today, but the truth is, that is not possible.
You have to appreciate today and make it worthy to approach your tomorrow. The tomorrow you bother about can only be put into shape by how you dress your today.

This quote that goes “the way you make your bed so you lie on it” is what I actually love to use to live for every day, the way you dress your today determines how you will lie on your tomorrow.
This starts with the right mind set, tell yourself I have to make today good because it will not come back again and it will prepare me for my tomorrow. Rather than bother about your tomorrow, be happy for today, because everything will fall for you in pleasant places.
Let go of the past, enjoy the people around you, treat people like you will treat yourself, learn to forgive, realise that no one is perfect, all of these and lots more will make your present always remarkable.

I am not controlled by my Hot Button
Hot buttons are triggers within us that make us react with anger. Hot buttons can be things that fall short of your expectations, block your goals, attack your self-esteem, violate your values and give you a feeling of loss or helplessness. A hot button is usually one that frequently sparks anger.

These hot buttons can be: Things we Observe (e.g. injustices happening to other people), Somethings we think (e.g. the thinking that we are always the target of a particular person’s mockery), Somethings we feel (e.g. the feeling of being helpless) and Somethings we do (e.g. rescuing someone, even if they don’t deserve our help)

Knowing how to escape from a situation which could potentially light the fuse and make you angry, such as identifying patterns in your anger or the person you got angry with most of the times. Avoiding these situations can lead you to a more peaceful life, free of the hassle of getting angry out of nothing.
