If you place that fish in anything, it transforms the taste to another level, in a good way!

Please I need help with how to use iru. Do I buy the dried one or wet one? Do I wash it before use or not? What’s the best way to get the most flavor from it? I tried cooking with it once, and even though I put a generous amount in the food, I still couldn’t appreciate the flavor. What could have gone wrong??

Wet one… Rinse before use because of sand.
