Thousands Gather at Islamic Funeral Prayer Program Held for Muhammad Ali | Photos

Yesterday, Thursday 9th of June 2016, a Muslim funeral was held for Muhammad Ali with thousands of his fans and admirers in attendance as they paid their last respects to the legendary boxer.

According to Reuters, an estimated 14,000 people were in attendance of the “jenazah” or funeral in Arabic.

Held in the boxer’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, mourners prayed over the body of the three-time heavyweight champion known for his showmanship, political activism and devotion to humanitarian causes.

    I don’t need to know lonnies character on a personal level, her acts ensured Ali remained great in the end

    I thought Islamic rites dictated that one had to be buried within 24hrs of dying or is my knowledge on this wrong?
