Ghanaian Pastor Whips Couple for Pre-Marital Pregnancy | Watch the Shocking Video

BN TV

Published

 on

Bishop Daniel Obinim of Obinim Ministries used a belt to beat his female church member for getting pregnant before marriage, and the man who impregnated her.

He whipped the man, who had his shirt off, and woman in front of his congregation in Kumasi, Ghana, while the service was broadcast live on TV.

At some point, she ran away, and an usher held her while he struck her repeatedly, while the pianist played a tune and hundreds watched and did nothing.

A Twitter user Austine @obimpenaaustine offered an explanation by saying the Pastor and his wife pay the fees of the young man and lady in the video, and the Bishop whipped them because he said God revealed to him they were trying to have an abortion.

Watch the shocking video!

No surprise here; evangelical churches have excelled at producing some of the worst religious fanatics and fundamentalists on this continent.

This is not even right at all. It’s just wrong on all levels and different angles. Can someone dig on the pastor’s life, he’s probably presently committing adultery. And whoop the hell out of him in front of his congregation.
I mean, some parent will do the same if their daughter gets pregnant before marriage but the pastor has no right whatsoever.

…. Beat them? Sure! but not infront of your congregation with your keyboardist playing like its a movie and members cheering. The whole thing is just messed up. People should have regard for other human beings, it doesn’t matter how highly placed you are or what you think you’ve done for them.

      Why beat them?

I don’t understand why you think it’s okay at all, whether it’s in secret or in the open. Under what law or Christian doctrine is he allowed to beat them?

      Warn yasef oh.

This is nauseating. I don’t know who is sicker, the pastor who thinks it’s right to abuse a fellow human being….a pregnant woman at that, or his wife who just sat there and smiled even after the lady ran to her, or the entire congregation cheering like Ancient Romans at a gladiator match, or the retarded pianist and usher that held the lady, or the couple who brought themselves to this church to be humiliated. flogging your members like cattle, I just can’t! ???

This is wrong on so many levels……. Jesus never corrected to humiliate people. There is no scriptural basis for this; besides these are adults not “children.” Also this so called Bishop has admitted to having an affair with the wife of one of his younger pastors. The ideology of not being able to go to God for yourself is stupid. Jesus died for this very reason so you wouldn’t need any priest(man) to go through. I am so fed up of “pastors” taking advantage of desperate people who are usually very gullible. I recommend everyone who says God has called them to be a pastor to go and do missionary work in the middle east(Iraq/Iran/Syria) for a year before they are allowed to pastor any church! Change will start from the house of God o….. pastors you are going to be first on God’s list!

reminds me of that naija pastor that gave a little girl a heavy slap and accused her of witchcraft. lets not forget his entire congregation also cheered loudly in support of the slaps the same way these people are cheering.

people are still going to attend this lunatic’s church. infact because of this particular incident, multitudes of people will flock to his church this coming sunday cause this is what black people like. this is the kind of salvation black people like. and pls some of u dont come here and pretend as if stuff like this doesnt happen in the church u attend. stuff like this happens in nigerian churches and many of u support it, the same way u supported ur daddy in the lord for slapping that girl.

What’s with most of these so-called Men of God and their hideous acts? Just recently a huge speaker was placed on a female church member during a deliverance session and she died. Its evident some of this acts are demonic practices.

As for this Ghanaian pastor, even if he intended to reprimand the couple, did he have to do it in front of the entire congregation? To prove what exactly? Is he implying He himself is without sin?? I strongly doubt.

As the Lord had said, He who is without sin should cast the first stone!

This pastor should stop judging them!!

This is why we fight and resist every pastor that wants to control their congregation by giving directives to them on who they should marry, or what not. That is how it starts, control. And sooner or later they will tell them to eat grass. Which they will gladly do. It’s all a power play for these lunatics and they move the goal post every time to gauge their level of influence and control. I bet if his congregation rebelled, he would have come out with the classic “Touch not my anointed”. Hahaha

EVERY BODY IN GHANA KNOWS OBINIM
and let me translate a few of what he saying as he was whipping

“”Kwasia – as he kept saying is the most insulting word in ghana kinda like an igbo will say Anofia or Ewu. and as a pastor he uses that word and even worse a lot. “Abuaaa” is another word he uses a lot. To sum it up he uses cuss words a lot. And if you are a journalist and you talk bad about him he and his thug niggas will target you and beat the shit outta you. He has more than 10000 members and they keep growing.

    youtube.com/watch?v=psNSAwD6bRQ

you wonder why he is still walking streets free man, well if you have a useless gobernment who dont give a fk – what else do you expect. This idiot will not be alive during JJ Rawlings days

By the way as i mentioned he is an illiterate and 99% of he church members are all illiterates. I ask one member to tell me Why she goes there she said she had been trying to get pregnant for 10 yrs and couldnt and immediately this negro son of a bitch called Obinim prayed for her an annointed her she got pregnant with twins and gave birth

So you see you and i will never understand those who attend this Satanic built church but every member there gets some kind of results whatever they are looking for – although they seem not to understand it all demonic. There is nothing you can say to change the members minds. Even as this video has controversial video ha surfaced the membership will triple, more illiterate will join the church and go give him all their hard earned money

Illiteracy is a sad thing, they dont know any better

What i dont understand is why God make them prosper as pastors and decieve them for so long, why cant you just strike them dead, fiam and safe thousands of people from this corrupt man

Growing up I always felt that way, but a lot of pastors in America name their churches after them, e.g Kenneth Copeland, Joyce Mayer, etc…..
On this post, this is no man of God, this is someone preying on the gullibility of a lot of “so-called christians” if you understand scripture enough and have personal relationship with God(not church relationship) you can’t be caught up in this type of foolishness

Actually the name of his church is ”INTERNATIONAL GOD’S WAY CHURCH”. The pastor has been in the news for the wrong reasons: sleeping with his junior pastor’s wife, attacking journalists and insulting his wife to his girlfriend! Yet still his ministry keeps growing. Religion is the opium of the masses indeed! I think his followers should be whipped!

      Only God will judge what?

“Many people who don’t want to be held accountable for their deliberate sins use this excuse. Yes it is true the Lord will judge you, but God’s people will judge you as well.”

“The Bible teaches us to judge correctly and not off of appearance.”
John 7:24 “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”

Leviticus 19:15 “‘Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.

How are we to watch out for false teachers if we can’t judge?
“Romans 16:17-18; Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”

“Matthew 7:15-16; Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are savage wolves. You will know them by their fruit. Grapes aren’t gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles, are they?”

Its very interesting to see that Christians are condemning this pastor’s act, calling it wrong, yet when we Muslims try to explain to you guys that most of the things some people are doing in the name of Islam are unislamic, you refuse to listen.

I know for a fact that there is not Christian-like about what this “pastor” has done and I believe you guys when you say that. All I’m trying to say here is you guys know how it feels (how painful it is) for “fanatics” to do the wrong thing in God’s name when clearly its against God’s will.

Isis, Boko harm, Al-Shabbab and all those groups are just doing the wrong things under the umbrella of ISLAM!!!!

    • Netizen

      August 19, 2016 at 11:54 am

Na… don’t get it twisted. Instead of Muslims condemning outrightly, you see things like “Islam is a religion of peace” etc. Maybe they themselves are scared of the terrorists, that I don’t know. Outrightly condemning something and playing victim agree two different things so don’t get it twisted.

    • Eze

      August 19, 2016 at 2:01 pm

Well unlike Muslims no one is here shouting, “this man is not a Christian”.
Unlike Muslims we accept that there are fanatics in our religion and we have no problems criticising them.
Muslims will either attempt to deny the person’s membership of Islam or start talking about stuff done 1000 years ago to deflect.

And not every Christian thinks all Muslims are terrorists.

The pastor being a maniac is not what scares me here but the congregation. Not one person saw fit to stop this madness. NOT ONE PERSON!!! That is the scariest thing here; the fact that someone will commit such an act and a crowd as huge as that thinks it’s alright blows my mind. This man could kill a person in the name of Christ and they will egg him on.. The pastor’s wife just sat down there and denge posed also.. I just cant. this world is going to hell in a handbasket.

This is totally absurd, is this Christianity? why are Africans so barbaric ? how can this type of behavior be acceptable ? instead of being a role model by organizing counseling for them to find solution he chose to make spectacle of them. This is part of the reason people take laws into their hands and jungle justice is the norm. The president of Ghana should have this charlatan arrested , he has brought shame on Ghana and Africa ,we cannot complain when other people around the world treat us badly. this is appalling! and un-christian.

The Jesus I know will never humiliate people regardless of their sin Jon 8:7, instead he had compassion when he saw people going the wrong way in their life Mark 6:34. Should this pastor have rebuked their behaviour, absolutely! Jude 1: 23, to do this in front of the congregation, most definitely not and certainly not by way of committing assault on a pregnant woman for that matter!!! This man is not a Christian and I have my reservations about the people in the congregation because this is not want God expects from us as His people.
People read the Bible for yourself ooo, your yardstick for Christianity is not pastor, it is Christ!!!

Maybe I didn’t read the article well but I thought they are teenagers and he’s some sort of Pastor guardian to them? The article also says the pregnancy has been aborted so its not like he’s beating a “Pregnant girl’. People “flog” children in Africa when to correct them.

… not here for this back & forth b4 it seems like I’m in support of the public (beating) flogging.

…. so the story is that, the boy is 16 and the girl is 14. they both live with the said pastor as his children. he pays for the boy’s school fees and takes care of him as his son. the girl is also in a beautician school sponsored by his wife. basically they are responsible for these two as their guardians. according to reports, they girl has tried aborting the pregnancy but wasnt able to and was even bleeding. says God revealed to him during the service and when he questioned them, they admitted to it. says he beat them because of the attempted abortion as a parent.
