Perfectly said 9ice.I have been saying this for ages,Monogamy has never worked well in all of recorded human history. It is time for society to let go of this idea and start accepting ethical polygyny as an option for men only..Women’s always find men that many women loves attractive and mighty. With polygamy, women’s loyalty to their husbands grow stronger,Polygamy helps to prevent or minimize adultery and cheating cases. It also helps to reduce the number of unmarried women in a society, after all the census says there are only 50 single men for every 100 single women. There are not enough men.I have no problem with a man having multiple wives but a woman having multiple husbands is immoral and wrong.

You are a sorry, pathetic, garbage ridden excuse for a human being. A waste of space. Die. Slowly. Please.

I actually laughed so hard at this comment. It’s hilarious, however, people/women are smarter now. You can no longer say selective BS and get away with it. If you are looking for polygamy, go look for a polygamous wife, period.

And this statement is probably coming from a Christian. Did you think God did not know what he was saying when he laid out the 10 commandments? People are very funny sha.

Extremely sad and pathetic. There are still men out there who have kept one woman, lots of monogamous marriages out there even till the other party dies. Lustful people will always proffer ideologies that support their lack of control.. They forget the envy, jealousy, promotion of fetish stuff and death involved in polygamy. The man never knows what is going on. Go ask real victims of polygamy.

Can I ever stop loving 9ice…Realest guy that ever liveth..Tuface clearly has two wives-one in the US and one at home but the make belief world that is Nigerian entertainment industry won’t let anyone agree so everyone can keep lying to everyone and continue in denial. My point is everyone should do what rocks their boat..monogamists shouldn’t look down on polygamists and vice versa…Live and let’s live .

why do you want to own me – same question. the whole monogamy thing doesn’t make sense TO ME. i’m way too lazy to hold on to somebody and too free to let somebody hold on to me. let people breathe.

but i won’t mess with a woman’s husband only because – woah, people go crazy. so i’m just here. eating my beans and plantain.

women who are married and want a second wife, raise your hand please. i’m looking. 🙂

I believe there’s something between Toni and 9ice that we don’t know cos that illustration of if you put a bowl of food and find small poo near it, would you still go ahead and eat it. That illustration is for the sane minds … If you really understand sha .

So called polygamy has added blessings, favor and money to him so much so that he is now the biggest celeb in the Nigerian music industry! He better wake up and realize his mistakes.

i cant blame 9ice. he came from that type of environment, since he was born into a polygamous family. if not for music, how would he have turned out? for those women who don’t mind being second or third wives, more grease to u and your children. i’ve never seen a child from a polygamous who’s happy, except for some muslims. polygamy has wrecked nigeria and countries. just look at countries where polygamy is not illegal, all poor countries, with corruption and a backward society. i’m igbo and in the east, a man must not have more than one wife, he might have concubines (away from the house) but u can never bring another woman into your home as a wife, even illegitimate children, you will literally be an outcast.

@nene dear…while I am not in support of polygamy for personal reasons. I beg to disagree with you! there are lots of people from polygamous homes, that live as one and are happy. what would u say about Muslims who marry more than one wife….I think the whole thing has to do with the individuals involved. if u listen carefully to the argument of people who believe in polygamy for religious reasons, u might almost be converted. I mean in polygamy the issue of “cheating” is greatly reduced.

that’s why i did not put muslims into that category. i have northern muslim friends who are from both polygamous and monogamous homes, there is definitely a difference in character from the two different types of families. and polygamy is financially draining. it’s not like these 2nd or 3rd wives have jobs. it’s rare to see a comfortable and successful woman marry a man as anything other than a first wife. the biggest embezzlers in nigeria are from the north, when one man can father at least 12 children and his wives have no source of income, he’ll obviously steal money, and there lies the corruption and poverty that polygamy brings.

Lol! Apologies o, but this comment comes from a very inexperienced individual. You have never seen a child from a polygamous home that is happy? I will show you a thousand more children from monogamous homes that are unhappy. It’s a very shallow mindset to think that happiness comes from the type of home one was born into. Happiness is a choice.

Polyandry nko??? Why should a man want to own a woman or in 9ice’s case multiple women??? Why??? Based on his reasoning why can’t I “help” the less privilege and society by marrying many of these men that cannot cater for themselves, I am educated, have a good paying job, own a car, my own place. Abi na…equality is the latest trend in our country. Just wondering how “real” that reasoning is?? You don’t want to be owned but you want to own and many consider that real??? How can we not see how illogical that reasoning is???
