BN TV: Watch Highlights from African Fashion Week in Toronto Canada

BattaBox presenter Precious attended the African Fashion Week which held at the Design Exchange in Toronto, Canada. The event showcased a Fashion Marketing Seminar, High Fashion Designer Runway Show, African Fashion Industry Awards, Student Designer Competition and more etc.

Precious talks to some of the designers, their models and even some of the attendees, who express how proud they are to be part of the event and how African designers have become very popular. “African fashion week gives us colored people a time to shine,” says a guy on the red carpet.

Precious also had a sit down with one of the fashion designers, Nkechi Maryann Biosah of Cannonballdiva who shared some of her tricks to designing cloths. “I know how to do fabric testing to make sure they are durable,” says the designer

The fashion runway event was the highlight of the fashion week as models clad in beautiful pieces made from African prints and sequences cat walked the runway.
