I already made a mistake by studying the wrong thing in university which is actually a very common mistake. I personally knew that I wanted to go into production and PR after university so I decided on film school instead of a masters program. Was my Bsc useless? Not really Would i advise people to get at least a diploma or a Bsc? yes get a Bsc or Diploma at the least because you just might need to use that degree to snag a job or two and if you are not a creative most jobs require at least a Bsc or a diploma so its more like a tool of survival in today’s world.

Richard, i think it’s time someone told you the truth. I know u, so this is coming from a place of familiarity. Not every body is as priviledged as you. Or has their lives figured out at the young age of 22. You don’t like accepting how privileged you are, from having a strong family name to being fortunate in life. But here’s what you don’5 know. You could have done without school, but not everyone can. Atleast, you have your rich parents to fall back to. You always breezed in and out of school. You always talked about how you didn’t know upto 10 of ur classmates. Which i found quite nasty and stuck up, regardless of the fact that we joked about you just being a part-time student in a full time program. But yes, you always passed with flying colours, but that’s why you’re different. U read for a few hours and Understand. U attend just one lesson and you stand in class asking intelligent wuestions. But Richard, that is u. The moment you you realize that u do not represent the vast majority of Nigerians the easier your life will be. And I know you do all these things from a place of genuiness, but not a lot of ppl know that. For most, you come off as being mocking of others that you know you’re leagues ahead of. At least that’s wat i thought when we first met in 100 level and you came wearing the most ridiculous expensive looking shoe and claiming to come from nothing when TJ asked what your parents did for a living.

Well, enough of the sermon. Keeping doing you but just keep it in mind that not all fingers are equal. You bear a huge influence on young ppl looking up to you. Don’t use your God given platforms to promote things like not going to the university. It’s an abuse of influence. Bye!

Unnecessary comment. Very smelly. This one is stress you should have just called him on the phone for lectures. I don’t come from privilege and I agree with him as I also made it without the Bachelors and Masters I got out of parental pressure lol. Even the “poor” people who struggled through university, a sizable chunk didn’t use no degree. Most went into small business. It is the nature of our dear country Nigeria. Absolutely nothing to do with privilege. You are jealous of him init? Don’t be mad. The future is bright.
